Juneau Animal Rescue is more than just an animal shelter. We offer multiple services for our pet loving community and their pets. All of our income from these services goes to support the work we do for animals in need.

Boarding

Dog Boarding services offer the community a safe place for their dogs to stay while they are out of town. Dogs are kept safe in our secure facility and in our fenced yard.

Doggy Daycare

Whether you choose to enroll your dog for one day a week, or even up to five, we guarantee your dog will love the staff, the outings, and all of his or her new doggy friends.​

Vaccine &
​Microchip Clinic

Every Tuesday JAR holds a Vaccine & Microchip Clinic for the public. Clients need to make an appointment in advance at 789-0260.

Animal Control
& Protection

JAR Provides Animal Control Services such as Licensing and ​Lost & Found Pets for the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska.

Grooming

We are currently only offering self-groom services at this time. Call 789-0260 to make an appointment. 
​JAR does not currently have a groomer on staff, so professional grooming services are unavailable. Apologies for the inconvenience!
