Juneau Animal Rescue currently seeking applicants for the following positions:
Kennel Technician
JAR Kennel Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Applicants should enjoy spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes and being outdoors year round in all types of weather. Job duties include handling, training, care, feeding and cleaning of kennel areas. Applicants must be physically active, reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn and follow JAR protocols for cleaning, sanitation, animal handling, and maintaining confidentiality. Experience with animals a plus but not required.

Administrative Manager
This is a full time position that reports directly to the Executive Director and aids all areas of the shelter. The Administrative Manager is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial, accounting, and personnel services such as daily accounting, bill payment, payroll, accounts receivable and general human resource management support
