Kennel Technician
As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy environment for our animals and the people who care for them. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires a love for animals of all shapes and sizes, as well as an appreciation for working outdoors in all weather conditions year-round. Veterinarian/Clinic Director
Juneau Animal Rescue is seeking a Veterinarian/Clinic Director to oversee medical care for shelter and foster animals and provide leadership for our veterinary clinic. Responsibilities include examinations, diagnosis and treatment, preventive care, routine canine and feline spay/neuter surgery, development of medical protocols, regulatory compliance, and supervision of clinic staff.
Applicants must hold a DVM or VMD, possess or be eligible to obtain an Alaska veterinary license, and have companion-animal medical and surgical experience. Shelter medicine experience is welcomed but not required. Both part-time and full-time arrangements will be considered. Competitive compensation and benefits are available, and relocation assistance may be offered.
