Juneau Animal Rescue offers Health Certificates for your pets.

- Health Certificates must be issued within 10 days of your travel
- Health Certificates are valid for 30 days. If you will be away for more than 30 days, you will need a new Health Certificate for each pet for your travel back
- Health Certificates are not required when traveling within the State of Alaska on Alaska Airlines
- Health Certificates are not required if your pet is traveling on Alaska Airlines and in the cabin of the airplane
- A current rabies vaccine certificate with a veterinarian's signature is required to issue a Health Certificate. If your pet does not have one, we can administer the rabies vaccine during your appointment for an additional $40 per pet.
- A Health Certificate is $100. If you have more than one pet, each additional Health Certificate is $50 per pet + and additional vaccine costs.
- To book your appointment, you will need to submit a Health Certificate form to [email protected]. Once received, you will be contacted by a JAR staff member to book your appointment and to accept payment for each Health Certificate. The payments are non-refundable.
