JAR provides high-quality, high-volume (HQ-HV) spaying & neutering services to make the largest impact we can for animals in our community. Surgeries are performed under the ASPCA HQ-HV guidelines and while proven safe and effective, are not ideal for older animals, obese animals, or animals with some medical conditions. Modern techniques and trained staff will be used to care for all animals, and reasonable precautions will be taken. However, animals will not have pre-operative bloodwork screening and intravenous catheters will not routinely be placed. This clinic is for young, healthy animals and is not appropriate for older animals or those with certain medical conditions. If your pet is elderly, obese, or has a known medical condition that might complicate their surgery, we recommend you seek spaying and neutering services with a private practitioner.
